"International Education Grant named after Heydar Aliyev" program is launched

"International Education Grant named after Heydar Aliyev" program is launched. Starting from the 2024-2025 academic year, 100 educational grants will be awarded annually for a period of 5 (five) years. The citizens of the eligible countries can apply to the program.

The eligible countries are member countries of the Islamic Cooperation Organization and Non-Aligned Movement, countries included in the group of Small Island Developing States, as well as countries where nations and national minorities living there have ethnic, historical and cultural ties with Azerbaijan.
The program includes preparatory courses, bachelor's (main (basic higher) medical education), master's (residency), and doctoral levels. The grant covers tuition fees, visa, registration, dormitory or apartment rent, daily meals, provision of educational literature, use of transportation (except taxi service), utilities, medical assistance, and travel to the countries of the recipients of educational grants once a year.
