On April 27-28 the staff members of the International Cooperation Office of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University Parvin Azizova and Narmin Hamidli attended the international education fair titled “Education 2017” organized by Atyrau Oil and Gas University of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main objective of participation in the fair was to showcase ASOIU to Atyrau schoolchildren, students, and graduates, provide information on the university’s academic and international activities and motivate the Kazakh pupils and students to apply to our university. During the fair, ASOIU staff talked about the university’s available education programs and the convenient education and living conditions created for international students. The students of the industrial city Atyrau showed keen interest in studying at ASOIU and Baku, and the staff collected the contacts of the students interested in studying at our university. ASOIU staff also met with the Vice-Rector of Atyrau Oil and Gas University Prof A.B. Maydirova and held discussions on cooperation opportunities. The next meeting was with the plenipotentiary representative of the Institute of Training and Retraining of Industrial Enterprise Employees in Atyrau S.E. Jamanbayev. ASOIU was awarded a diploma for participation in the fair.
