On November 20th, international students in Azerbaijan participated in a tree-planting campaign in Khojasan, Baku. The event was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Education and the IDEA Public Union under the motto "From Victory to Green Thought" within the framework of the "Green Marathon" project.
More than 100 international students from 17 universities and 48 countries overall helped Azerbaijani volunteers, students, and the officials from governmental bodies with planting trees to improve the environmental situation and increase greenery. During the campaign, students also had a chance to socialize with local students and broaden their networking.
