Citizens of 23 more countries allowed to enter and leave Azerbaijan by plane

  According to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, citizens of the Republic of Argentina, the Commonwealth of Australia, the Federative Republic of Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, the Republic of South Korea, the Republic of Chile, the Republic of Ecuador, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Costa Rica, the Republic of Cuba, the State of Kuwait, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Maldives, the United States of Mexico, the Kingdom of Morocco, Mongolia, Montenegro, the Kingdom of Norway, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Panama, the Republic of El Salvador, the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and New Zealand are now able to enter and leave Azerbaijan by air. To travel to Azerbaijan, a person over the age of 18 must have a COVID-19 passport (a document confirming full vaccination or immunity gained while recovery from the disease) and a negative result of the PCR test given within 72 hours before the flight. Those under the age of 18 are required to have a negative PCR test for COVID-19 given only 72 hours before the flight. ©

Country Presentations by Holders of the Azerbaijani Scholarship

The students, who have received the scholarship granted by the Republic of Azerbaijan for the citizens of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement, have started giving online presentations about their countries to Azerbaijani schoolchildren. On October 5, 2021, Laura Boniface, an ADA University student, presented her country, the Seychelles. She covered such topics as the geography, history, culture and nature of her homeland. At the end, Laura answered to many questions of the participants. The project aims to let the scholarship-receivers share their cultures and to increase cross-cultural understanding and global awareness of Azerbaijani schoolchildren. Results of the Azerbaijani Government Scholarship Program Results Announced Now

Azerbaijan International Development Agency has just finalized the selection of 40 students from 37 countries to study in higher education institutions of Azerbaijan this year. Within the higher education scholarship programme for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) countries, approved by H.E President of Azerbaijan, 120 students from around 60 countries were provided with full scholarships in the previous 3 years. The Citizens of Some Countries Are Now Able to Travel to Azerbaijan

According to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, citizens of the People's Republic of China, Republic of Estonia, Republic of Finland, French Republic, Hong Kong (PRC), Republic of Croatia, Republic of Iceland, Italian Republic, Republic of Latvia, Republic of Lithuania, Malaysia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Japan are now able to enter and leave Azerbaijan by air starting from September 6, 2021. To travel to Azerbaijan, a person over the age of 18 must have a COVID-19 passport (a document confirming full vaccination or immunity gained while recovery from the disease) and a negative result of the PCR test given within 72 hours before the flight. Those under the age of 18 are required to have a negative PCR test for COVID-19 given only 72 hours before the flight. The foreigners whose temporary stay has been extended for 60 days (with payment of the relevant state fee) are not required to leave the country, as restrictions on land entry and exit have not been lifted.
